hi friend!

I’m a former elementary teacher, current stay-at-home mom, who dove head first into photography! I’m an athlete for life, type A, with extreme attention to detail. I don’t like to make mistakes and I wish I could control every hour of my day. But, being a Christian woman, I have learned that this life and all that happens, is not up to me. My mission and passion is to serve my clients with a joyful spirit and to honor God in all I do.

I live in Elkhart with my supportive husband, Kyle, two busy children, Eloise (4) and Jay (2) and our rescue pup, Newton. I am blessed to have a very close family who all have a special place in my heart and live nearby.

My “story” was re-written in June of 2016 when our first daughter, Wren, passed away. Kyle and I had so much anticipation as we prepared for her and prayed for her the 9 months that she lived in me. We pictured our whole lives with her. Unfortunately, God knew that was never the plan. Her life changed mine forever, and many others as well. A photographer (Uyen Dugle), and the images she captured of my daughter’s short life, had such an impact on me, that I have made it my mission and passion to do the same for others. I find myself here today, taking photos of infant losses in the hospital, as well as capturing smiling faces for all of you, in awe of God’s mighty work.
